Overview
This Bowie knife was made in Mexico in the early 1900s. The blade appears to be forged from a file, you can see some of the file marks on the ricasso, has a false top edge with asymmetrical swedges, .251″ blade stock and 1.364″ blade depth, hidden tang. The handle has a brass guard, collar and butt, a grip consisting of horn/brass/aluminum/red spacers. The fit and finish is a little rough, but otherwise good condition for its age.
