Overview
This Bed Warmer or Dutch Oven (we aren’t really sure exactly what it is) by William Scagel was acquired by Herman Schneider through his friendship with Dr. Lucy, who was William Scagel’s personal physician and a major collector of his work. It is made of copper and aluminum with a wooden handle. It has never been used and is in excellent condition. His makers mark is stamped on the ring on the front of it. Pot is 11″ in diameter.
